RUMORS @ Black Box Theater

RUMORS @ Black Box Theater

By Neil Simon
Directed by Jonathan Davidson

Set in the nineties, RUMORS, a farce by Neil Simon, is beloved for its laugh-out-loud, fast-paced wit. When a few couples are planning to get together for a quiet dinner party, everything changes before anyone even gets there. Mistaken identities, misinformation, and a visit from the police all mix together to make up one of the funniest plays of the 20th century.

Also included: a World Premiere by Kevin Jenkins, winner of multiple Dance Magazine and Pointe Magazine Editors Choice choreography awards, Slager’s Of Splendors and Horrors, inspired by C.S. Festival City Chorus presents "Route 66: A Road Trip" @ Wendy Joy Lindsey Theater

This year the Festival City Chorus will take you on a musical road trip across the country.  Route 66, “The Main Street of America,” became one of the most famous and traveled roads in the United States. We’ll travel from Chicago to Santa Monica, California on a site-seeing trip in song.  We will also have two of our chapter quartets: “The Four in Accord,” celebrating their 51st year in harmony, and the “Cream City Crooners.” Our featured guest quartet, “Geneva” hails from Lake Geneva, WI and Chicago, IL! You’ll be treated to their quality singing and humor.  After the show is over, come downstairs for our Afterglow!  We will have more fun, refreshments will be available and more singing from the 3 quartets!  Afterglow tickets will be available at the door.
