Meet the Artists

Steve Green  ’97

Steve Green was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. While enrolled in multiple art classes during his senior year at Pius XI, art teachers Cathy Burnett and Pat Frederick encouraged him to build a portfolio and apply to art school. Drawing on influences from political street art, skateboarding, and punk rock music & flyers, he took their advice and created a body of work to submit. He was accepted by the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, where he earned a BFA in Communication Design in 2001. Shortly after graduation, he moved to New York City to work as a graphic designer. After 10 years in New York, he relocated to Portland, OR, where he took on the role of Global Product Art Director. He has contributed to Nike Sportswear, Nike Basketball, and Nike Skateboarding, and currently leads the Art Direction for Nike Running.

Simon Teigeiro ’13

Simon Teigeiro is a multidisciplinary artist working with an array of styles and tools to get across a message of peace and positivity. Simon creates work in multiple different styles from full space installations to small scale works on canvas, paper, and everything in-between.
