The World’s Stage Theatre presents in collaboration with Pius XI Catholic High School GOING DARK: SHORT PLAYS OF SAMUEL BECKETT, an evening of the lesser known works of Samuel Beckett. Join us to explore themes of the cycles of life through movement, physicality and the rhythms of language. The eight works, most of which have never been produced in Milwaukee, ask us to reflect on the nature of our existence while questioning if we like what we see in ourselves. Open your mind to a world filled with dark humor, irony, and colorful characters.
WORKS: “A Piece of Monologue,” “Rough for Theatre II,” “Quad,” “Come and Go,” “Play,” “That Time,” “What Where,” & “Catastrophe,” by Samuel Beckett. Each work will be presented each night.

This unique and exciting collaboration features Pius XI acting students working alongside professionals from the community. Together they will present some of Samuel Beckett’s rarely seen works.
